Product Overview

Ceftazidime + Sulbactam is a combination of two
medicines: Ceftazidime and Sulbactam. Ceftazidime is
an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of
the bacterial protective covering which is essential for
the survival of bacteria. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase
inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the
activity of Ceftazidime against bacteria..
Ceftaben SE advantages
Ceftazidime+Sulbactam is used in the treatment of
bacterial infections even if they have developed
resistance.
Contraindication
If the patient is suffering from any of the following
diseases, Do not use Ceftazidime + Sulbactam unless
prior observation is done – Ulcerative Colitis Gastritis
Kidney Disease Liver Disease Asthma Kidney Disease
Mononucleosis Ulcerative Colitis Jaundice Sexually transmitted diseases
