Eq, to anhydrous Meropenem (A Sterile mixture of Meropenem IP & Sodium Carbonate IP)     1000 mg

Tazobactam Sodium (Sterile) IP

Eq. to Anhydrous Tazobactam 125 mg

Disodium EDTA IP 37.5 mg

This pack also contains one FFS ampoule of Sterile Water for Injections IP 20 ml.

Direction for use: For Intravenous Injection dissolve the contents in Sterile Water for Injection IP 20ml,

The reconstituted solution should be used immediately after preparation and not be stored

Product Overview

Meroben Tz Injection is a combination of two antibiotic medicines
(Meropenem (1000mg) +Tazobactum (125mg) and respectively in 1.125gm/1.5gm.
It is used to treat severe bacterial infections of the
skin, lungs, stomach, urinary tract, blood, brain, and
others. It works by killing and stopping the growth of
the bacteria that cause these problems.

can cause serious infections. It is used to treat many
different types of bacterial infections such as infections
of lungs (pneumonia) and urinary tract..
Contraindication
Before starting treatment with this medicine, you
should tell your doctor if you have epilepsy, liver, or
kidney problems, or if you are allergic to any antibiotic.
While using it, you may be advised to take blood tests
to monitor your blood cells and kidney function.
Doctors should check if the patient is pregnant or
breastfeeding to make sure it is safe for them and the
developing baby.
EDTA (37.5mg) has been added as CHELATING AGENT EDTA chelation therapy is
approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a treatment for lead and
heavy metal poisoning. It is used to treat acute and chronic lead poisoning by pulling
toxins (including heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury) from the
bloodstream.
